About Hesta Health

Hesta is creating a new benchmark in women’s health, delivering exceptional care at every life stage. As we advance towards this goal, we are committed to closing the women’s health gap, beginning with pregnancy and postnatal as our initial focus. 75 million years of women’s lives are lost every year due to poor health or early death. This gap limits potential, drives inequality, and reflects a healthcare system that wasn’t built for women. We are changing that.

About Us

Hesta Health is creating a new benchmark in women’s health, delivering exceptional care at every life stage.

Our first mission is to reimagine care for mothers and birthing parents through compassionate care, clinical excellence and technology.

We’re looking for

We’re looking for a HCPC-registered physiotherapist with a strong track record in women’s health and pelvic health. You’ll combine clinical expertise with empathy and integrity, ensuring every woman feels heard, safe and supported during one of the most important stages of life.

This is a part-time role based in London, suited to a mid-to-senior physiotherapist. You’ll play a key role in shaping our postnatal and women’s health services, bringing everyday excellence, evidence-based practice, and a commitment to care above all.

This is the first version of the Hesta service we are delivering, and women’s experience with our front-line clinicians is critical. This is a unique opportunity to be one of the first clinicians to provide exceptional, compassionate care in appointments that allow the time and space to care for women while also helping to shape the future of digital healthcare in the UK and globally. It marks the beginning of a longer and important mission.

To join a healthtech startup this early on and genuinely change the future of healthcare is a career-defining opportunity and we can’t wait to see if you are a good fit to come and build with us!

Time commitment: Around 10 - 15 hours per week

Preferred Days: We can be flexible

Start Date: Early 2026, pending CQC registration

What You'll Do

  • Carry out comprehensive physiotherapy assessments with a focus on women’s and pelvic health.

  • Develop personalised treatment and rehabilitation plans using evidence-based approaches.

  • Provide effective therapeutic interventions, including pelvic floor rehabilitation, manual therapy and education.

  • Educate and empower patients in self-care, recovery and preventative strategies.

  • Work closely with our wider clinical team to optimise patient pathways and ensure continuity of care.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and detailed health records using our digital EHR system.

  • Keep up to date with advances in physiotherapy, postnatal care and NICE best practice.

  • Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives and contribute to innovation in care delivery.

What You’ll Bring

  • HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist (BSc/MSc Physiotherapy), member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

  • At least 5 years of clinical experience with a focus on women’s health and pelvic health.

  • Postgraduate training or specialist certification in pelvic health physiotherapy (e.g. advanced pelvic health courses, Mummy MOT®) strongly desired.

  • Strong communication, empathy and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build patient trust.

  • Experience in digital-first healthcare, including use of electronic health records.

  • Collaborative approach, comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Evidence of commitment to professional development and integrating new research into practice.

  • Organised, adaptable and able to manage a busy caseload with attention to detail.

  • Motivation to contribute to system-level change in women’s health, aligned to Hesta’s mission and values.

What we offer:

  • You’re joining a winning team who closed their oversubscribed £2M pre-seed earlier this year, backed by investors such as Eka Ventures, Ascension and Blue Lion Capital

  • Hesta’s co-founders bring expertise across business, technology, and clinical care, with experience in the NHS, Airbnb, Babylon, and McKinsey & Company, alongside research at the University of Oxford and UCL.

  • A unique opportunity to join a HealthTech startup at day zero and help build the backbone of a healthcare service designed specifically for women and birthing parents

  • Join a small, mission-driven team where your contributions have immediate impact - we can actually change how healthcare is designed, delivered and scaled for women, here at Hesta Health!
