Hesta is creating a new benchmark in women’s health, delivering exceptional care at every life stage. As we advance towards this goal, we are committed to closing the women’s health gap, beginning with pregnancy and postpartum as our initial focus.
75 million years of women’s lives are lost every year due to poor health or early death. This gap limits potential, drives inequality, and reflects a healthcare system that wasn’t built for women. We are changing that.
We’re building a modern healthcare brand and service for women, and we’re looking for a Marketing & Growth Lead to help us bring Hesta to more people.
You’ll work closely with our co-founders and our marketing intern to turn our growth priorities into action across social, partnerships, performance marketing, events, PR and commercial activity.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is creative, commercially minded and exceptionally good at getting things done. You’ll have real autonomy from day one, with the opportunity to shape how Hesta grows and how the brand shows up in the world.
We’re looking for someone who can take a loose idea, work out what needs to happen and make it happen quickly, thoughtfully and with a strong instinct for what feels right for Hesta.
Own marketing execution
Turn Hesta’s marketing priorities into clear campaigns, plans and activity
Own the marketing calendar and keep activity moving across channels
Work closely with our marketing intern, who executes on content creation
Take ideas from concept through to launch without needing detailed briefs or close oversight
Track results, learn quickly and continuously improve how we spend our time and budget
Own and grow our social channels
Manage Hesta’s social channels day-to-day alongside our intern
Oversee publishing, community engagement and campaign activity
Ensure everything we put out feels unmistakably Hesta
Work with our intern to shape and prioritise content
Identify cultural moments, conversations and opportunities where Hesta should show up
Use performance data to understand what resonates and improve our approach
Build brand and commercial partnerships
Identify brands, communities, practitioners and organisations we should collaborate with
Proactively reach out and build strong relationships
Develop creative partnership ideas that strengthen the brand and drive growth
Own partnerships from first conversation through to execution and follow-up
Identify commercially valuable opportunities and help turn them into repeatable channels
Drive performance and growth
Support and increasingly own paid acquisition across channels such as Meta and Google
Test audiences, creative, messaging and landing pages
Monitor performance and make commercially sensible decisions about where to invest
Look beyond paid media for scrappy, cost-effective ways to drive awareness, leads and bookings
Help build a strong culture of testing, learning and iteration
Bring Hesta to life in person
Help plan and execute Hesta events and community activations
Support with venues, partners, promotion, guest communications and logistics
Think creatively about how in-person experiences can build the brand and generate demand
Be willing to get stuck in and make things happen on the day
Support PR and broader commercial activity
Identify stories and angles that can earn Hesta attention
Support founder-led PR, pitching and media opportunities
Help develop campaigns and partnerships
Bring us ideas for new channels, collaborations and opportunities we haven’t thought of yet
A high-agency operator: You don’t wait to be told exactly what to do. You work out what needs to happen, make a plan and get moving.
A strong marketer: You likely have around 2–5 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally in a consumer startup, fast-growing brand, agency, health, wellness, hospitality or similarly fast-moving environment.
Commercially minded: You care about what actually drives growth. You’re comfortable looking at numbers, understanding performance and making sensible decisions.
Creative: You naturally generate ideas: campaigns, partnerships, events, stories and interesting ways for Hesta to show up.
Scrappy and resourceful: You’re comfortable achieving a lot without enormous budgets, teams or perfect processes.
Fast to learn: You can get up to speed quickly on a new customer, category or channel and aren’t intimidated by things you haven’t done before.
Brand-sensitive: You have excellent judgement about tone, language, visuals and audience. You can understand a brand quickly and protect what makes it distinctive.
A strong communicator: You write clearly, build relationships easily and represent Hesta confidently with partners, customers and collaborators.
Highly organised: You can manage multiple projects and moving pieces without things falling through the cracks.
Hands-on and low ego: You’re as happy developing a campaign idea as you are fixing the final details before it goes live.
Startup-ready: You thrive in ambiguity, move quickly and are comfortable working in an environment where the answer is not always obvious.
Mission-aligned: You care deeply about what Hesta is trying to change. You believe women and birthing parents deserve better support after birth and feel genuinely motivated by the opportunity to improve the postnatal experience. You don’t need to arrive as an expert in women’s health, but you should be curious, empathetic and eager to understand the women we serve deeply.
Bonus: Experience in women’s health, healthcare, wellness or another mission-led consumer business; hands-on experience with performance marketing channels; PR or influencer marketing; CRM and email marketing; event or community marketing; partnerships; or experience helping build a brand from an early stage.
This role is:
A hands-on marketing and growth role
A chance to have real ownership from an early stage
A collaborative role working closely with the founder
An opportunity to shape how a new women’s health brand grows
A role where creativity and execution matter equally
A chance to work across brand, growth, partnerships, events and commercial activity
This role is not:
A pure social media or content creation role
A strategy-only marketing role
A role where you’ll have a large team or agency doing the execution for you
A narrowly defined performance marketing role
An environment with perfect briefs, established playbooks or lots of process
A role you can do part time (sorry)

You’re joining a winning team. Founders have worked at Airbnb, Babylon, NHS, Oxford and UCL.
A unique opportunity to join a startup at the beginning and help build a healthcare service designed specifically for women
Join a small, mission-driven team where your contributions have immediate impact
Work closely with the founder and have significant ownership over how Hesta grows
Competitive salary and equity options - we’re building this together
Flexible, hybrid working; our team works based on the job that needs to be done. Please note: this is a hybrid London-based role, not a remote-first opportunity. (And we don't pay for travel expenses associated with being in the office.)
Office facilities: spacious working space with other innovators in Victoria, bike storage, changing facilities and a healthy supply of tea and coffee
25 days annual leave a year + public holidays
