About Hesta Health

Hesta is creating a new benchmark in women’s health, delivering exceptional care at every life stage. As we advance towards this goal, we are committed to closing the women’s health gap, beginning with pregnancy and postnatal as our initial focus. 75 million years of women’s lives are lost every year due to poor health or early death. This gap limits potential, drives inequality, and reflects a healthcare system that wasn’t built for women. We are changing that.

About Us

Hesta Health is creating a new benchmark in women’s health, delivering exceptional care at every life stage.

Our first mission is to reimagine care for mothers and birthing parents through compassionate care, clinical excellence and technology.

Job Description

We’re looking for a GMC-registered doctor at F3+ level or with equivalent post foundation experience to be our Clinical Operations Associate. You will support the delivery of outstanding women’s health care through clinical insight, care coordination, and operational excellence.

This is not a traditional clinical role. You’ll work behind the scenes, using your medical training to develop meaningful insights, support continuity of care, and strengthen the systems that underpin safe, compassionate, and high quality services. This role sits at the intersection of clinical understanding, operations, and technology, and is well suited to a doctor interested in digital health, systems improvement, and women’s health.

This is an early role within Hesta Health and an opportunity to help shape how our services operate as we scale. Your work will directly support our clinicians and improve how women and birthing parents experience care across the postnatal journey.

  • Translate complex clinical information into clear, accessible, and user-friendly written synthesised reports that empower patients to understand their health and take informed action.

  • Identify results from biomarkers or questionnaires that require medical follow-up, and appropriately signpost patients to relevant clinicians including escalation to emergency services if needed

  • Support patients with answering clinical and non-clinical questions about their report within the limits of your competence

Clinical Operations Support and Product Development

  • Contribute to the day to day clinical operations that underpin safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery.

  • Work with clinical, product, and operations teams to improve how clinical information is captured, synthesised, and used.

  • Support the development and refinement of operational processes as the service evolves.

  • Contribute to service improvement, quality initiatives, and the ongoing shaping of our care model.

Care Coordination

  • Support care coordination across the multidisciplinary team and ensuring information flows smoothly between clinician types.

  • Help ensure women and birthing parents experience joined up, well organised care across services and touchpoints.

    .

Clinical Governance and Professional Development

  • Excellent written communication and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Confidence working with digital tools, electronic health records (EHRs), and technology enabled healthcare workflows.

  • A sound understanding of clinical risk, escalation, and governance, even without direct patient responsibility.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across clinical, operational, and product teams.

  • Desirable: experience or interest in women’s health, postnatal care, digital health, or healthcare operations.
